ISV Sessions

Directions looks forward to having your company present your ISV Session(s) for this year’s event. The Directions North America Sponsorship Committee assigns ISV Session time slots to ensure optimal scheduling for all participants. As soon as the schedule is set up, we will communicate the date(s), time(s) and location(s) to you.

You will have one (1) 30-minute ISV session.

You will have two (2) 30-minute ISV sessions.

Gold Sponsors
You will have one (1) 30-minute ISV session.

Silver Sponsors
You will have one (1) 30-minute ISV session.

Under Session title, enter: Your company name | Your session title

Under Co-speakers, add additional speakers’ email addresses. They will receive invites to submit bios. All speakers must be registered attendees.
Speakers will be able to upload presentations through Sessionize to share, prior to or after the conference.

Additional Notes about AV. Be sure to review the Audio Visio Set Up and Presentation Formatting information below. We are assuming you will be using standard AV setup as provided. If you have any requests, please provide details in Additional Notes.

PowerPoint Templates

A Directions 2024 PowerPoint Template is available for your use when creating your PowerPoint Decks. Please note that all breakout and ISV sessions and workshops will use a 1920x1080 projector resolution, so a PowerPoint Widescreen (16:9) format is optimal. You may use your company branding on your ISV session decks.

Audio Visual Set Up and Presentation Formatting

We are assuming you will be bringing a laptop with you to present from.

  • The projectors will run HDMI. There will be adapters available if your laptop runs VGA and requires one to interface with an HDMI projector. Check in at the AV Service Desk to be sure you have what you need for your laptop(s) and/or device(s) so your presentation will go smoothly.
  • If your laptop or equipment requires an adapter for U.S. electrical outlets, please be sure to bring one.

The following audio visual equipment will be available for use during your sessions. Please note that setup and equipment mix are subject to change.

  • A projector and a screen
  • 2 wireless mic kits (Lavaliere) at the speaker table, and a hand-held wireless audience mic
  • Two Internet hardwired connections at the speaker table, plus wireless Internet for speakers during their sessions
  • 4 Barco ClickShare Buttons with L Transmitter to handle input from multiple computers/devices
  • Projector display resolution of 1920 x 1080 for Breakout Sessions, ISV Sessions and Workshops

While onsite, please check in with the AV Service Desk to discuss your plan to ensure you have what you need for your presentation. On the day of your presentation, arrive on site at least an hour before your session, and in the session room 15 minutes before your session begins. If you need any help please contact Registration Desk or AV Service Desk located in the conference area.

AV Service Desk

The Directions AV team will be on hand to help you set up at the beginning of your session. An AV Service Desk will be present to provide support and answer your AV-related questions. The hours are:

  • Sunday, April 14, 10:00 AM - 11:45 AM and 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Monday, April 15, 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Tuesday, April 16, 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM and 10:15 AM - 6:30 PM
  • Wednesday, April 17, 7:30 AM - 12:45 PM

Speaker Ready Room (Tidepool 3)

There you can sit, relax, charge up your computers, and review your PowerPoint slides. A projector and screen will be available for use. If you have additional needs, check in with the Registration Desk or the AV Desk. The Speaker Ready Room hours are:

ClickShare Wireless Presentation Hub

The Directions 2024 Conference will be utilizing Barco Clickshare (2nd Generation) in our meeting rooms. Clickshare is a wireless presentation hub that allows multiple presenters to set up, test and remain in sync with the projection systems throughout the entire meeting. To begin your presentation viewing presenters simply tap their projection control and begin the presentation.

  1. Clickshare will allow every presenter to quickly connect to meeting room projection systems through a single USB connection.
  2. Clickshare will allow every presenter to set up, test and remain connected to the projection system using a simple click of the switch to view your presentation on screen.
  3. No cables, control panels, no passwords.

Clickshare is compatible with all PC and Android based user platforms. If you are utilizing Mac based platforms, please see the link below to assure Clickshare works well with your presentation. The AV Service Desk will also be able to assist you if you have any questions.

Speakers who want to access their notes during presentations should plan to have printed notes or use HDMI connections since ClickShare does not allow for simultaneous presentation and note viewing. For more information please check out the following:

Speaker Presentations and Session Ratings

Speakers are encouraged to make their presentations available to attendees. Please upload your presentations to Sessionize for publishing on the Directions Community Portal, which will be available to Partner attendees. During your sessions, we also encourage you to ask your attendees to provide rating feedback on the Conference Mobile App. You’ll be able to see the ratings and attendee feedback for your sessions.
